A system was developed that had never existed before in the world. A patented compact sawmill that does everything in a very small space, in contrast to large sawmills that require a lot of machines, workers and space.
In collaboration with several companies, the “Sawbox” was created for the customer “Holzbau Unterrainer”, which does everything fully automatically, from the raw tree to the finished boards. Only one person is required for monitoring.
The tree trunk is first debarked, then measured and, depending on the desired size, the selected boards are cut from the tree according to an optimal pattern, then they are sorted according to quality levels and stored in different stacks, ready for transport.
